Pippa Martin, Co-founder
With a HR career spanning over 25 years, Pippa first started out in recruitment, working in both agency roles as well as in-house for a large high street bank. She operated at the Human Resources Director level for over 15 years, working across several industry sectors including Financial Services and Life Sciences. Pippa's varied career has given her the unique perspective of being a recruiter, a client of recruiters as well as a candidate. She has experienced the common trials and tribulations felt by most candidates. She has coached businesses, executive teams, recruiting managers, HR colleagues and candidates through, what can be, a challenging process, always with a keen eye on excellence and care. It is this perspective, her passion for first-rate recruitment customer service, a transparent process for all, with candidate care front and centre, that drives her desire to create a positive shift in the recruitment world.
When not working, you are likely to find Pippa in a field, wearing wellies, either looking after her two Alpacas, Gin and Tonic, or walking her two huge dogs.
Steve Martin, Co-founder
He is passionate about candidate advocacy, improving the candidate experience and shouting out the good recruiters.
Steve is a seasoned Reward and HR specialist. After 20 years in Consulting, advising multinationals across many industries on reward practices, he joined an international HR team within Financial Services. He is a skilled advisor of HRDs, Boards, Executive Committees and REMCO's on their overarching compensation philosophy, strategic direction and operational effectiveness.
When Steve isn't looking at a spreadsheet talking to investors or recruiters, he'll either be in his workshop making tables out of huge slabs of wood or in his forge hammering a piece of metal into something useful!
